50+ directory launch

On Friday 1st August, Walsall's New Deal 50 Plus Forum will be launching their Directory of Services for Over 50's.

The launch event will be held at the Blakenall Village Centre, Thames Road, Blakenall, between 10.00 and 11.30am.

The event will give partners and services users the opportunity to view the new directory that provides information on services and social opportunities for people who are over 50.

Flo Smith, Chairperson of New Deal 50 Plus Forum said; "This directory will be a useful tool for elderly people that is easily accessible and provides useful information about services that are available for our residents."

The directory forms a key part of the Older Persons Project that is funded by Walsall's New Deal and is managed by the Bloxwich Community Partnership.

For more information about the event, to join the forum or if you are interested in being a volunteer for your community please give Tracey Gould a call on 01922 712069 or 07980 614847 or on over50sbcp@hotmail.co.uk
