Aberdovey 'expedition'

On Monday 10th November, 40 young people from the New Deal areas of Blakenall, Bloxwich and Leamore will leave Walsall for the Outward Bound Centre at Aberdovey, Wales.

This 'expedition' has become an annual event forming an important part of the "Smart Choices" project delivered, by Walsall Education Business Partnership, which achieves so much for New Deal students who are at risk of becoming; Not in Employment Education or Training (NEETs).

The current project is showing very positive outcomes with work, training or further study placements for 21 out of 22 young people recruited last year onto the on-going project of which this trip is a part.
