up Leamore Park Walsall North Allotment Association is working in partnership with New Horizons Community Enterprise to brighten up the main entrance to Leamore Park, Blakenall. The Association is donating £500.00 worth of 'blooms' for the planters that line entrance into the Park from Blakenall Lane. The planting will make the park more welcoming to the local community, the allotment growers have also agreed to help with the planting in the park in future years. This work will be of great value to the park and the community, not just this year but in future years and will also be a part of the 'Blakenall in Bloom' entry in the Heart of England in Bloom competition. John Sheppard, Chair of the Association said; "We have worked with New Horizons Community Enterprise in the past on projects such as the fencing and roads in Goscote Allotments; we value our partnership and are pleased to support this project which will be of benefit to the wider community".
