Garden bird watch
survey

To find out just how 'wild' the garden birds in our neighbourhoods are; Neighbourhood Nature, The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country and Walsall's New Deal are teaming up to run Garden Bird Watch Survey.

The survey begins over the Easter holidays and closes on Friday 18th April.

Local residents are being asked to take part in the survey that will give participants the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a bird box which has been built by young people who attends the Blakenall Youth Club and Green Rivers Play Scheme.

Julia Morris Neighbourhood Nature Project Officer said: "The garden bird watch survey is a great activity for everybody to get involved with regardless of age or ability. The information we collect will be used to find out more about our wild bird populations."

To take part all you need is the garden bird watch recording form which you can receive by calling the Blakenall info Centre on 01922 711228.

If you would like to find out more please contact Julia Morris at the Blakenall info Centre 01922 711228.
