'Arrive Alive' top
driving tips
Local men's group 'The Gathering' have arranged an evening about safe driving
called 'Arrive Alive'.
The evening is taking place on Tuesday 6th October at 7.00pm, at the Blakenall Community Centre.
The presentation will be led by a driving examiner from the Government Driving Standards Agency, who will provide general tips and reminders on good driving practice and provide advice on the general driving skills required for today's road and traffic conditions; the presentation will last about one hour and will include a short DVD.
The aim is to help the more mature driver to continue to drive more safely, thereby helping to them to retain their driving licence into later life.
The evening is free and has been organised by 'The Gathering' men's support and development group.
If you would like a fish and chip supper after the presentation then this will cost you £4.50p.
