Cultural Greek
dance workshops
Walsall's New Deal 'Aloud' dance group are 'dancing the night away' in preparation for their debut at the Blakenall and Leamore Summer Festival on Saturday 16th June in Leamore Park.
The dancers are busy perfecting their skills by taking part in cultural dance workshops based on around Greek dance and Indian dance.
The dance group was inspired when they went to watch a performance at Arena Theatre in Wolverhampton by a group called 'Tribanghi' who performed a combination of traditional Indian and African dance, and now the heat is on them to perform something equally amazing.
Are you interested in dance? Rehearsals take place at Forest Arts Centre and the Shelfield Sports College for 8 - 12 year olds and over 12's. If you would like more information about the workshops please contact Nazrana at the Blakenall info Centre on 01922 711228.
