'Popular centre displays
Housing and Environment'









Walsall's New Deal for Communities continue with their series of information displays by showcasing the initiatives of their Housing and Environment Theme on Thursday evening 17th April at the Blakenall info Centre on Blakenall Heath.

The event will run from 5.00pm until 7.00pm.

Steve Pooni, Housing and Environment Theme Manager said, "Our aim is to give local residents the opportunity to come and found out about the initiatives and redevelopments which continue to improve the New Deal area."

Walsall's New Deal for Communities is a regeneration initiative working in the areas of Blakenall, Bloxwich and Leamore. The initiative received a £52 million Government grant from the Department for Communities and Local Government (formerly the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister) to be spent on sustainable regeneration spread over a ten year period that commenced 2001.
