By popular demand extra health event - 'Kick Start'
to New Year
Due to popular demand, people who cannot make it to the Friday daytime Health Fair Event at the Blakenall Village Centre now have the opportunity of an additional health check session on the Thursday evening 10th January at the Blakenall info Centre, on Blakenall Heath.
This evening session will give local people who may be at work the opportunity to pop into the Blakenall info Centre and get a health check and have a chat with a health specialist, over a cup of coffee.
The event will run from 5.00pm until 7.00pm and everyone is welcome.
Hannah Griffiths, Long Term Conditions Co-ordinator and event organiser said; "This will be a great way to 'kick start 2008', we will be on hand to give you guidance that can point you in the right direction to a healthier lifestyle".
Walsall's New Deal and Walsall teaching Primary Care Trust have teamed up to hold a New Year Health Fair on Friday 11th January from 10am until 4pm in the Atrium at the Blakenall Village Centre on Thames Road, to help residents and employees on their way to a healthier 2008.
