Local firm helps out?
'Arry's Ground Force a local landscaping company who had been contracted to carry out maintenance work in Leamore Park have gone the extra mile!
The company has been contracted to carry out repairs to the pathways around the bowling green in Leamore Park.
Whilst carrying out the work Harry Price and his team noticed that one of the cast iron benches had been removed and vandalised, leaving the bolts that held the bench in place, sticking up.
Harry immediately came to the rescue making sure that the area was made safe by removing the bolts, another bench had been moved so Harry bolted that one back into position too.
Not only that, but Harry has offered to refurbish one of the old benches to replace the vandalised one. This will involve a considerable amount of work as the bench will need to be sanded down and given several coats of paint.
Tom Perrett MBE Chair of New Horizons Community Enterprise said; "We are very grateful to 'Arrys' Ground Force for going the extra mile to help us keep the park up to the high standard expected by the users and local residents".
