"Nuts about Nature"?
Are you 'Nuts about Nature'? Come along and take part in our free family nature activities at King George V Playing Fields Bloxwich on Saturday 31st of October.
Activities will include a big bug hunt, bulb planting, a chance to learn about lichens and a feely box challenge, our aim is to celebrate the new conservation area and to encourage more people to visit the site and enjoy it.
Kate Frost, Secretary of The Friends of Bloxwich Parks Group said:
"The event is a family day with lots of things to do, we hope that people will come along to learn about nature, have fun and help us to celebrate the new conservation area by visiting the park and taking part."
The conservation area was developed by the Friends Group with funding from BBC Breathing Places and is supported by Walsall Council.
This event is part of the National Campaign for Learning's Family Learning Festival so if you are 'nuts about nature' this is your opportunity to get involved and Do One Thing for Nature this autumn.
The event is being hosted by the Friends of Bloxwich Parks, Walsall Council, the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and Black Country and New Horizons Community Enterprise.
