Blakenall police, meet
and greet!









On Thursday 24th April members of the Walsall's New Deal Neighbourhood Police Team will be at the Blakenall Village Centre to meet local residents from the Blakenall area.

Local people are invited to come along meet their local police team and have a chat and a cup of tea from 16:00 - 19:00hrs.

During the evening residents will be able to find out how they can help to build a safer community by working with their beat team and to see how the new CCTV system will work to their benefit within the area, they will also be able to find out about the newly established Hi Visibility Foot Patrol Project that is aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour.

Residents will also be able to meet the two newest members of the team, PC's Stuart Mahon and Ian Skidmore, and be able to get advice and talk about issues that affect them and their community.

David Benbow, New Deals Crime and Community Safety Theme Manager said; "This will be an excellent opportunity for local people to come along and have an informal chat with their local officer about matters that may be of concern".

Following on from this event New Deals Crime and Community Safety Theme Manager, Dave Benbow will be launching his own Safer Communities Surgery that will commence in May on every Tuesday 12.00 to 14.00hrs at the Blakenall info Centre.
