St. George's Day celebrations with a 'taste
of England'.
Staff at Walsall's New Deal, Horizon Restaurant based at the Blakenall Village Centre have created a menu that aims to get every-ones 'taste-buds watering' with a 'taste of England', when they celebrate St. George's Day on Monday 24th April.
Based in the Blakenall Village Centre, the Horizon Restaurant will be decorated in red and white and will host a fantastic English themed menu, drawing food from across the country to create totally unique, freshly prepared food that will be served from 12.00 until 14.00hrs.
Starting with Cotswold Tomato Soup and croutons, followed by a choice of main courses; Somerset Pork; or a trio of sausages from Cumberland, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire; there will be Worcester Beef Cobbler and the vegetarian option is Norfolk Nut Cutlets. For desert you will be able to choose from Devonshire Splits or Kentish Apple Pie.
On Friday 21st and Monday 24th April from 8.30 until 11.00, the restaurant staff will be cooking up a £1.99 special offer eight item full English breakfast with a free slice of toast. The aim being on the Friday is to help you to get 'set up' for the weekend of celebrations and on the Monday to help you to recover!
We look forward to seeing you; have a great St.George's weekend from everyone at New Deal.
Ends.....
