'Changing Faces'
Top Trumps
Growing Up Game
'Changing Faces' celebrates local children's creative work as part of an arts and personal, social and health education project delivered in Elmore Green School, Green Rock School, Leamore School and Little Bloxwich School in the New Deal area.
Throughout the academic year, children in years 4 & 5 were involved in a puberty health education project working with professional artists on a programme of creative workshops and activities. Through drama, visual arts, and graphic design children were supported to explore the physical, emotional and social changes experienced as they grow up.
This event on the 29th celebrates the work of all the schools through showing the 'Changing Faces' Top Trumps game and virtual world website the result of lots of hard work, creativity, ideas and enthusiasm from the children, teaching staff and arts workers.
The project was designed to support schools in the delivery of sex and relationship education which in addition to workshop delivery will incorporate teacher training opportunities for all of the primary schools in the New Deal area.
The 'Changing Faces' celebration event is being held on Monday 29th September between 10.30am - 11.30am at Forest Arts Centre, Hawbush Road, Leamore, Walsall, WS3 1AG.
