Fix it with the
New Deal Wheelers!
New Deal Wheelers Bike Club is holding a cycle maintenance class for the young people of their bike club.
The session will take placed on Saturday 10th February from 10am until 12pm at Leamore Park on Blakenall Lane, Walsall.
The classes will be lead by a 'cycle mechanic' from Cycle Staffordshire.
The 'cycle mechanic' will familiarise the young people with the tools, safe working practice, the parts of the bike and the specific knowledge needed to maintain a bike and keep it running safely for day to day use.
Gail Beeley, Youth Worker said; "It will be really good to see the young people getting their hands dirty and learning new skills. We also hope that the classes will help the young people to develop their sense of pride and ownership for the bike club".
